Head-Technical, South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy Integration (SARI/EI), Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe) / USAIDS
Mr Rajiv Ratna Panda is the Head-Technical in the USAID’s South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy Integration (SARI/EI) at Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe) based in New Delhi, India. He holds the responsibility to provide technical inputs or advices to the program of enhancing Cross-Border Energy Trade (CBET) and energy security as well as in the areas of policy, regulatory, legal inputs or advice to the program. Mr Rajiv’s expertise covers from Energy & Power System Engineering, Climate Policy and Low Carbon Growth, Regional Energy Cooperation, Policy Research-Analysis & Advocacy, and Power System Consultancy just to name a few. His experience is unparalleled; Energy Security, Energy Modelling & Long Term Energy Transition, Rural Electrification & Energy Access and so much more. Mr Rajiv holds an MBA (Energy) majoring in Finance Management and qualifies himself as a trained Electrical Engineer with Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and he also have Post Graduate Diplomas in Engineering Management and in Power Transmission and Distribution Engineering. Mr Rajiv’s latest publication is on “Suggested Changes/Amendments in Electricity Laws, Regulations and Policies of South Asian Countries for Promoting Cross-Border Electricity Trade in the South Asian Region.”
