Dr. Akhomdeth Vongsay

Dr. Akhomdeth VONGSAYhas worked in the Lao power sector for more than 13 years. During his career, he has been involved in project financing of several IPPs that are now supplying electricity to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia; and several others are under construction. Following his earlier, he graduated with Electrical Engineering in bachelor degree and MBA in Australia. In 2015 he graduated the doctoral degree from Kunming University, China and National University of Laos’s joining program. Presently, Dr Akhomdeth VONGSAY is the Director of Project Development Division in the Department of Energy Business, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Lao PDR.
